Founded by award-winning photojournalist Dan Iverson in 2009, Anthologie is respected for providing engaging photography and storytelling.

Everyone has a great story to share, all you have to do is ask the right questions — that's the motto Anthologie has adhered to since its inception. All of our clients (whether business or personal) receive the same documentary approach to their projects, which allows them to connect to their audience in ways facts and figures just can't do.

We are a Minnesota documentary photography studio and archival book designer that safeguards your memories from being lost to time and changing technologies

Document. We begin the process by providing custom photography of life events, or through interviews, which are turned into written stories. Anthologie owner Dan Iverson is an award-winning news photographer and reporter that uses his art to record your history. Our journalistic approach allows you to engage with your family or favorite hobby while we make the photographs. Meaning the family photographer can finally be the subject of your pictures!

Design. Our next step is to bring together the photographs and/or narratives to create a beautifully designed archival book. You are invited to collaborate with us much or as little as you wish during this phase. Captions and personal mementos can also be added to your design to further enhance your story.

Preserve. Your book is sent out for publication in either of two formats — as an engaging coffeetable book, or as one of our signature Anthologie Volumes. Our signature books feature leather hardcovers, hand-sewn bindings and print quality that is second to none.

Relax. Don't spend your valuable time agonizing over complicated design software or maneuvering through a labyrinth of digital photo files. Let us do the work for you. Your story will be cared for by professional photographers, designers and journalists, so you're free to do what you do best. And since only the finest materials and technologies are used to create your book, your story will be passed down for generations to enjoy.

Anthologie Signature Books features only the finest materials to ensure your story will last generations.

Custom Design: All of our books are custom made to your specific taste and feature designs dictated by the strength of photos and written words used to enhance your story. We do not use templates. The result is a beautiful book that stands a part from the rest.

Photography: Use your own pictures or have Anthologie provide the professional photographers required for your story. We specialize in photojournalism and capturing your story as it naturally unfolds. Scanning of existing prints, slides and negatives is also available.

Reporting: Professional journalists and storytellers can be employed to add rich history and context to your Signature book. Interviews are crafted into feature stories bringing your words to life in an engaging format.

Archival Papers: Our books are printed using a state-of-the-art printer on 115-pound text weight papers in a number of finishes, including coated, uncoated, glossy and matte. When cared for properly, your story and images will last for hundreds of years.

Sewn Bindings: Signature sewn bindings are the gold standard in bookbinding. The pages are not glued, stapled or side sewn. A signature sewn book opens flat naturally allowing images to span the full width of your book. The rigid construction ensures a lasting book.

Variety of Materials: Custom fabrics, silks, leathers, raw boards and graphic covers are available in a multitude of sizes and colors.
